Art Online At Boyd's Com munity Membership Terms Of Use
Becoming a Community Member Artist allows to show and sell your artwork online, without the expense, or effort that creating your own site would entail. Our professionally managed website provides secure online sales that enables you to do what you do best, "Your Art". You ship your own artwork, with no risk of lost inventory, or unreported sales. Membership is provided by request. Art submitted is subject to initial review by the staff at Art Online At Boyd's. We do not as a policy judge art technically, however Art Online At Boyd's reserves the right, "in any case", to decline any given submission with no specific explanation. Art Online At Boyd's also reserves the right to terminate any account without explanation. Our Gallery Sales Commission Rate is only 5%.
Additional Services:
Depending on you level of membership, additional work requested over, and above that which is provided with, & outlined in your specific membership plan is subject to a $25.00 per piece fee. That is to add or remove images, prices, & shopping cart buttons. Custom, and assistance services are also available. We're here to help. A rate of $43.00 per hour will be charged for any extraordinary services deemed as not includes with any specific membership plan. Specific information, & prices for these services are available on request.
Getting paid:
Member Artists are paid by check within 30 days business days of any sales. As an online art gallery we focus on providing a professional online presentation of your artwork and secure online sales transactions. However, if you are looking for a website to simply show your art, the choice is up to you. When a Member Artist sells a piece of art, they are notified by e-mail. Order Confirmation emails outline the specific art piece(s) for you to ship, with recipient and destination information, as well as the costing information related to the specific sales.
Shipping:
Art Online At Boyd's Community Artists are required and agree to directly ship their Art for sale to the purchaser. Shipping charges are clearly visible in the shopping cart section for each item on our website. Member Artists are required to pack/ship their work according to the requirements of each art piece, and the standards outlined at www.ups.com. Total shipping charges are determined by Pay-pal & UPS. In certain instances, additional shipping, or packing charges may apply, and are not the responsibility of Art Online At Boyd's.
Shipment Tracking:
Art Online At Boyd's Community Artists are required, and have agreed to ship their items via UPS, who provides tracking information, to the Shipper (Artist Member), and the purchaser. Via e-mail confirmations, and at www.ups.com.
Insurance:
Although Art Online At Boyd's strongly suggests to all of its Member Artists to insure their shipments, Art Online At Boyd's allows its Member Artists to decide whether or not to insure their items, with one exception, that all original artwork must be insured for its full value. Art Online At Boyd's is not responsible for insuring any art sold via our site.
Additional Considerations and Suggestions:
When pricing you art, Art Online At Boyd's requires that you add to the total cost, the cost of insurance, labor, and materials for the appropriate packing & shipping of each Art piece. As an additional precaution we suggest that you also add the cost to insure each art piece for shipping to the cost posted on Art Online At Boyd's Community Artist's gallery page. Art Online At Boyd's is not responsible for any damage, or cost incurred during shipping or otherwise.
